Hot Girl Summer may be long gone, but Texas Megan Thee Stallion is still around with good music, great looks, and now a highly anticipated collaboration with a creative social shopping app, Depop, is coming January 17th.
According to Vogue, the “Texas Fever” themed collection will feature items from Megan’s own closet, including several pieces from the “Hot Girl Summer” and “All Dat” videos. Items such a red cowboy hat, a fringe-detailed mini dress, and her signature denim shorts are just a few of the items up for grabs. Texas Fever will also include pieces from a selection of designers from Houston—which is extra special considering that Houston is Thee Stallion’s hometown.
When asked what she was most excited about for this collaboration, she expressed how she wanted to give the creative community something big to be apart of:
“The creative community in Houston is kind of hidden, you wouldn’t even know there are so many young people here designing and selling their own clothes.”
She then went on to say that her fashion choices are about more than just the aesthetic, but about the environment as well:
“I’m all about the eco-hottie vibe. I can find vintage pieces and not have to buy something new. I’ve been trying to use less plastic after my beach cleanup last year and I’m definitely going to try and buy more cool vintage pieces now that I’m on Depop.”
The entire Texas Fever collection will be available on January 17, 2020, within the Depop app. In the meantime, check out Megan Thee Stallion’s profile on Depop and watch the promotional video below.
