Remy Ma and Papoose’s ugly social media feud wasn’t on our December bingo cards, but here we are. Front row for all the drama.
Now, if you swore off social media and wondering what the fuss is all about, on Wednesday (November 11th), Remy Ma went full scorched earth when she leaked alleged text messages between her estranged husband Papoose and Olympic-winning boxer Claressa Shields, the woman he is reportedly having an affair with.
“Papoose dum ass fell asleep on the phone with Claressa Shields,” the Lean Back rapper, 44, wrote alongside an alleged screenshot showing Papoose with the boxer.
“Laying in my house he refuses to leave. This bitch supposed to be a world champion boxer and get scary ass hung up soon as she heard my voice. Nowwww I’m telling everything ohhhh and babygirl u not the only one.”
In another post, Remy Ma accused Shields, 29, of putting “out fake stories” about her to the press to make her look bad and make Papoose, 46, look like God’s gift to humanity.
“This lady #claressashields and that sorry ass publicity team been putting out fake stories on me EVERYDAY to make me look bad and him look like God’s gift for too long,” she wrote.
“I begged @papoose to put out something to stop the narrative and he kept telling me just stay quiet that’s the best thing to do,” the Whuteva rapper continued. “ Welp, I’m tired, oh and he said he would never fuck you cuz you ugly but don’t worry I saw everything now the world gonna see it since u so tough boo.”
Moments later, Remy Ma posted a follow-up that showed another screenshot of texts from Papoose to Shields.
“Papoose u fukin dummy!” she wrote. “Ms Shields, he took your advice but not before I screenshot y’all convo. Oh, he was getting me arrested, the woman that NEVER fucked off on him in 17 years! While plotting ONE OF his chicks to try to destroy me. The same woman that could’ve BEEN used my platform to expose you.”
She also accused the Back On My Bullshit rapper of threatening to leak explicit videos and publicly claim he wrote her lyrics for Imagine That.
In another post, accompanied by yet another screenshot, Remy Ma wrote that she is “a ONE boyfriend woman” and chuckled at the idea of her estranged husband buying Shields gifts.
“He’s a taker, not a giver,” she wrote. “Plus, I’m the one with the bag, lol. Please, stop playing with me cuz I’m not the enemy you want. I am not even mad, actually. I’m very happy, and that’s why your boyfriend is mad.”
In another, Remy Ma accused Papoose of threatening to call the cops on her in the past, to which the Dumpin’ rapper denied. She also claimed that he’s been physical with her and that she has the audio to prove it.

Papoose followed up by claiming that the All The Way Up rapper is now “mad” that he moved on and that he’s asked for divorce “numerous times” now.
In a post to his IG story, the Brooklyn MC wrote, “Sad to say that @remyma Is a narcissist. She chose to cheat repeatedly. Now that I finally moved on, she’s playing the victim. I have requested a divorce numerous times.”
He added, “She rather clout chase on social media. Than handle this like civilized adults. I did not wanna do the social media foolishness. For the sake of my 6-year-old baby. She has to go to school. As you can see, I remained quiet through this all.”
To crank up the chaos, Papoose also alleged that during Christmas 2023, Remy Ma was all cozied up with her rumored boo, Eazy The Block Captain. Papoose also confirmed that he did, in fact, fight and knock out Eazy in his caption.
“While I was home with my daughter last Christmas, this is where Remy Ma was,” he wrote. “Now that I FINALLY moved on, she’s angry and making up lies. … I told her we could divorce like adults. She refuses to do that because I wouldn’t lie and say I didn’t knock this chump out. I still got the messages of her begging me to lie about the knockout. But who cares! He didn’t throw 1 punch back #supersoft.”
He continued, “Last time I saw this chump, he was in the fetal position. Everybody saw it! 2 When I knocked him out, @remyma woke him up. And went home with him for 4 days. I went home with my daughter! As you can see, she couldn’t wait to lie about it again. SMH #narcissist, I didn’t knock him out because he slept with my wife. I knocked him out because he shook my hand. And then slept with my Wife. #wife #narcissist.”
Remy Ma clapped back with a post of her own, sharing a video of her interactions with Papoose’s alleged girlfriend, Shields, on Instagram.

Shields also hopped into the messy social media feud, firing back at Remy Ma, writing on her Instagram Story,
“Misery loves company baby… Smh. I’m just so happy over here. I can’t believe a 45-year-old woman is crashing out like this. [Clown emoji] behavior. I guess I’ll welcome all my supporters.”
She continued: “How a woman with 2 boyfriends mad at a man that has a girlfriend. @remyms if I ain’t the only one why they you tagging me????”
Remy Ma responded, correcting the boxing champion’s age dig and throwing some shade of her own.
“I’m not 45 YET! But you are 29 and I’ll just say this… you not aging like wine,” she wrote. “ AGAIN tho, I’m not your enemy. Tell ya boyfriend to buy you some flowers & gifts. & he didn’t answer any of his phones cuz he was with his Cali girl this week.”
The mom of two also exposed an IG DM thread where Shields, 29, allegedly asked her to assist her with fashion. However, Shields hit back, claiming that the texts were fabricated.
“You making fake texts is crazy! I’m not a bi**h you can bully,” she wrote. “You’re bitter and mad. You making yourself look stupid, just stop it.”
Shields then proceeded to use the feud to promote her upcoming match.
“Might as well! Next fight is Feb 2nd in Flint, Michigan for some more Heavyweight Belts! & The Fire Inside comes out Christmas Day in a theatre near you!”
She also offered to fight Remy if she’s up for it.
“Claressa Shields vs. @RealRemyMa Feb 2nd! Come get yo a** whooped crash out!!”
Fans have been speculating about trouble in Remy Ma and Papoose’s marriage for a while now. In September 2023, battle rapper Geechi Gotti accused Remy of cheating on Papoose during a rap battle, but she chose not to address the claims.
The couple initially planned to wed in 2008, but their plans were derailed when Remy was incarcerated. They eventually made it official in February 2016 and welcomed their first child together in December 2018.
