Eminem recently filed a trademark opposition against Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant for the “Relatively Shady” trademark.
However, the Real Housewives of Potomac stars are fighting back against the influential rapper.

According to RadarOnline, the RHOP stars are not giving in to Eminem’s opposition to their “Relatively Shady” trademark application.
“Relatively Shady” is the name of their podcast, which they launched some time ago.

In February, Eminem and his team of lawyers moved to block the trademark application, claiming the RHOP stars would tarnish his reputation if they received the trademark.
According to the prolific rapper, the RHOP stars using Relatively Shady will confuse his fans, who have known him as Slim Shady since 1996.
Apparently, Relatively Shady will make fans think the rapper is connected to the podcast.
Eminem’s lawyers emphasized the point:
[Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant] mark REASONABLY SHADY, simply looks and sounds like SHADY and suggests that it represents the services of Mathers.
Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant Are Not Keeping Quiet
The Real Housewives of Potomac stars are not letting the rapper have his way.
According to RadarOnline, they flat-out denied that Reasonably Shady is identical to the Detroit rapper’s use of Shady.
In addition, the RHOP stars were adamant their trademark would not confuse the rapper’s fans or that it would suggest their podcast was connected to Eminem.

The stars want the United States Patent and Trademark Office to trademark Reasonably Shady despite the rapper’s opposition.
This case can go either way as both Marshall Mathers and the RHOP stars have valid points.
However, it doesn’t look like a situation whose resolution we will see anytime soon.
