Shannon Sharpe has apologized to Megan Thee Stallion.
According to Complex, Megan appeared on Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, and he promptly apologized.
“Meg, before we go any further, I want to apologize to you personally. I always wanted to sit down and have a conversation with you—I didn’t know if that was going to be possible. But I was always hoping that I got an opportunity to bump into you because I … told a joke and I said it in jest, but I believe the joke would have been just as funny had I left you out of it. So for any unwanted attention, harm, shame, embarrassment that I caused you or your family, I want to say, as a man, as I sit here before you, I apologize.”
Megan Thee Stallion Appreciated Shannon Sharpe’s Apology
As Sharpe finished his apology, the Hiss rapper replied with:
“I appreciate that. Thank you.”
The pair then tried Sharpe’s cognac, Shay by Le Portier.
Shannon made a toast with:
“Anytime someone comes on the show, we have to toast, because you been amazing and you have an amazing career going forward.”
In November, Sharpe made explicit comments about Megan Thee Stallion to Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, his Nightcap podcast co-host.
He said:
“I’d have her stretched out like a quarter to three. I do it three ways, Ocho: deep, hard, and continuously … I’d have her opening up like saloon doors.”

Sharpe got a lot of flak for his comments and he apologized indirectly to Megan.
“If Meg had a problem with anything that I’ve said, let me take the time to say, I’m sorry. I apologize.”
The rapper never replied to Sharpe’s comments.
