Shannon Sharpe and Fox Sports, the owners of FS1, have come to a mutual agreement.
According to New York Post, the two parties have reached a buyout deal, so the conclusion of the thrilling 2023 NBA Finals in June might be the last time we see Sharpe.
However, Sharpe isn’t just leaving ‘Undisputed.’
His popular “Club Shay Shay” podcast will also leave Fox Sports.
It Started With Friction Between Shannon Sharpe And Bayless

Sharpe and Bayless had friction on the show, which erupted when Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed during a Week 17 game against the Bengals.
Bayless tweeted that the NFL might postpone the rest of the game, arguing that this game held tremendous importance for the regular-season outcome.
After reading the tweet, Sharpe stayed away from “Undisputed” the next morning.
When Sharpe returned a day later, he showed his dismay, wishing Bayless would take his tweet.
However, Bayless stood by his words.
Their differences continued to escalate, and even former FS1 host Marcellus Wiley sensed the tension.
Wiley, declared on his Instagram page that this was a primal battle between two alphas fighting for territory.
Another source of friction was LeBron James, who Sharpe was close with but Bayless was critical of.

So, Shannon Sharpe has apparently lost the war since he’s leaving the show and the network.
But let’s remember that Sharpe has made significant accomplishments, including:
- Becoming a three-time Super Bowl Champion
- A four-time All-Pro
- A member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame
Sharpe has left an indelible mark in the hearts of football enthusiasts, and his position will not be easily filled.
