Shaquille O’Neal’s mother is dishing on her son’s previous marriage.
According to radio show Sway In The Morning with Sonya Curry, Lucille O’Neal shared her thoughts on how her son’s relationship deteriorated.
At close to the 30-minute mark, O’Neal spoke on Shaunie Henderson.
Her response was short but thorough.

“I don’t care who he marry or who he get with, I know my place and I’m secure in it. But it’s hard to see them go into a relationship and somehow you may feel maybe that might not be the right relationship. But we have to step back and we have to let it happen.”
Meanwhile, Sonya Curry never doubted her children-in-law, revealing that she prayed for good ones since her kids were babies.
“I’d literally every night pray that God will bring godly woman and a man into their lives and he has not failed me yet. And I have two beautiful daughter-in-laws and a son-in-law, that I actually consider them daughters now and a son.”
Curry boasted of having “great relationships” with her children-in-law, and joked that there’s “a no-return policy” on her kids.

In the book, she discusses how she got used to the NBA lifestyle when she married Shaquille O’Neal.
“He was trying to be a world-famous, thirty-something multimillionaire with thousands of women throwing themselves at him, and people in general begging just to be in his presence, while being a husband and a father simultaneously. How could anyone possibly know how to do that?”
