In her latest Instagram Post Brittany made it clear that she does not have what she calls ‘blind loyalty to anyone or any thing’.
I don’t have blind loyalty to any person, place, or thing. I also don’t need excuses to do what I want to do because I accept whatever comes behind my decisions. It’s still Alhamdulillah for everything! Hope this helps

Social media is ofcourse reacting to the entire thing.
Her 52-day Islamic “marriage” to rapper Kevin Gates stirred a lot of intrigue. Brittany explained she converted in April, only to divorce in May.
Some speculated that leaving the hijab was tied to her split.
Others applauded her honesty, saying, “She’s beautiful,” or noting that Islam doesn’t require a hijab.
one person said:
The most beautiful part of getting to the destination is the journey! You’re so beautiful girl.
another said:
Muslim don’t always wear hijabs
another said:
Most of us born Muslims struggle with Hijab. Islam is and will always be perfect, Muslims are not. If you ever need support or motivation on your hijab journey, there are sisters who will not tear you down and guide you and support you, AND NOT JUDGE. You’re beautiful, and many of us are proud of you. Who knows how many lives you’ve changed during your own journey and you should be incredibly proud of that.

it’s YOUR journey! ❤️ but just know you’re definitely not in this alone, Brittany! ????

Brittany! The fact that you are on national television portraying a “Muslim” woman is surprising. First of all, playing with faith is quite serious. Secondly, we know that everyone has their own ways, but to be cussing up a storm and trying to fight while wearing a hijab is… pic.twitter.com/R8Rv51sOX5
