Social media users are speculating that Derrick Jaxn’s ‘divorce post’ may have been ‘inspired’ or copied from another relationship guru who shared a similar divorce note on Facebook back in October.
Willie Moore Jr. describes himself as a ‘Master Story Teller, Radio Personality, Adoption Advocate, Speaker, Film Producer, and Television Host’ and he posted about his Divorce on October 28th of 2022.
This was Willie’s Divorce message he posted to Facebook on October 28th:
Family, after two years of counseling, one year of separation and one year of divorce proceedings our family has gone through many changes. Many of you have speculated and even reached out to us to pray. I really appreciate the outpouring of private love and support.
I want to say that I really appreciate the amazing memories my family shared with you guys, the impact we made on many couples and the example we set for many people around the world. Thank you so much for those of you who watched our family grow for many years. Making a decision to file for divorce after 15 years was one of the hardest decisions I ever made in my life.
As we go through this very difficult process my prayer is that God can get the victory even in this moment. That two Christian people can be an example of what LOVE looks like despite what the outcome looks like. The Bible says that they will know us by our LOVE.
Please take the time to say a prayer for all the Moore’s during this time. I honor you for supporting our family with prayer and not gossip. Thank you. #flatout See less

Over the past several months, my family and I have gone through many changes. Some of you have speculated while others of you have reached out to offer support as we privately established this new normal for ourselves and our beautiful children.
Earlier this year after much prayer, counseling, and deep consideration, we decided to go our separate ways and filed for divorce. Making the decision to file was one of the hardest decisions of my life, but I’ve found peace knowing that our mission of raising healthy children, starting with healthy and whole parents is still being accomplished.
From falling in love as just teenagers, to becoming spouses and now co-parents, I’m grateful for the years we’ve spent together and wouldn’t trade them for anything. I was blessed to have such an amazing person in my life and will forever be thankful for all she’s meant to our family.
We ask that if you pray, to please pray for us as we navigate this grieving process. If not, please respect our privacy.
Obviously, the posts are not carbon copies of each other, but they are close enough for social users to bring the similarities to each other’s attention.
