Chile where is Olivia Benson? …Because we don’t even know where to start with the latest witness that took the stand in the Toy Lanez trial.
Sean Kelly witnessed the altercation the night Megan was allegedly shot and his testimony has us all wondering if we are in the middle of a movie, or is this real life.

Tory Lanez Day 7: We spent the entire morning with defense witness Sean Kelly, who witnessed some of the incident from a balcony overlooking Nichols Canyon Blvd. While defense had claimed Kelly could ID Kelsey Harris as shooter that’s not exactly what happened.
Kelly says he was woken up by arguing and looked out his window to see “two girls” fighting, presumably Megan Thee Stallion and Kelsey Harris. “They we’re pulling the hair and hitting each other it was quite violent,” he said.
The witness told the court that he did in fact see ‘the shorter guy’ with a gun, but then said he believed a woman shot first.
Kelly says he heard what he at first believed to be fireworks and then saw a muzzle flash. Confusingly, Kelly says he both saw the muzzle flash coming from “one of the girls” but also saw it “about the same time the smaller gentleman (Lanez) got out of the car.”
Kelly never heard anyone say “dance, bitch!” but described a woman crawling away from car bleeding. He told investigators previously two people had a gun, today he says “I never saw the gun, I just saw the flashes,” which he thought came from a woman.
Kelly describes all parties as involved in a fight but paints Lanez as extremely agitated. Defense attorney George Mgdesyan keeps bringing up an interview Kelly did with defense investigator where he did say one of the girls was the shooter. Now he’s saying he saw “flashes.”
“I saw flashes, I never saw the gun. I don’t know, I never saw a gun it was just flashes,” Kelly says, not long after saying he told investigators “they were both shooting.” Not sure if this is wording issue, but I’m not sure how one sees a shooting without seeing a gun.
Kelly also went into a bizarre narrative — lining up with no other testimony — where he said he saw 3 people beating up a fourth woman and he thought they were going to kill her.
On redirect, Mgdesyan got Kelly to acknowledge he previously said he saw Lanez wrestling the gun away from Kelsey. “It looked like he was trying to take the gun from the other girl,” Kelly previously told defense investigator, per Mgdesyan question.
On cross, Kelly tells DDA Alexander Bott he “believed the girl fired the first shot.” Bott then challenges him with 911 call transcripts where Kelly supposedly never made any mention of a woman shooting. Court broke for lunch there.

This is selective reporting. Mr. Kelly said so much more, including disclosing the shorter guy shot round in the air. Never did he say he aimed at anyone.

We are all types of confused and its clear we are no closer to knowing ‘who shot Megan’.
