The picture is so fire, it needs to be framed for all to see. These women changed the game and looked fabulous doing it.
There’s a whole lot of glitter in this picture because the #BlackGirlMagic is shining bright, okay! Prince George’s County Fire Department recently made history by hiring Chief Deputy Tiffany Green as the first female African-American Fire Chief to serve the department.
While we are #PrinceGeorgesProud of our first female Fire Chief, Tiffany Green, we are even more proud of the female firefighters following in her footsteps. Please join me in welcoming our newest “sheroes” to our Fire/EMS Dept, who graduated earlier this month! #BlackGirlMagic pic.twitter.com/ByVvFSDwl6

Green spent more than 20 years volunteering with the fire department before assuming the role as the leader.
People are seeing these impactful changes to the county, even Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks said in a tweet, “While we are #PrinceGeorgesProud of our first female Fire Chief, Tiffany Green, we are even more proud of the female firefighters following in her footsteps.”
Talk about squad goals! Well done ladies.
