A stylist is going viral on Twitter after she posted a video of her client’s hair while she was installing ‘rope twists’.
According to the audio in the video, the stylist is threatening to charge $200 extra if any more of her clients show up to their appointment with “heat damaged hair”.
In her caption, she states that heat-damaged hair is not meant for twists, and working with it causes pain and strain to her hands.

She started her TWIST with BRAIDS,let’s start there. If you charging me for heat damage then I need a discount for you not knowing how to rope twist correctly.

Lol maybe it’s “heat damaged” bc they be requiring hair to be straightened just to get braids/twists

i don’t get why stylists required straighten hair for twists and braids in the first place..our natural hair type is literally perfect for the style??♀️

Some stylists actually require that you show up for your protective style, with straight, or blown-out hair!
Is her client’s hair actually heat damaged or just straight?
they be like “come w your hair blow dried and straightened no natural hair” then be like “omg no heat damaged hair” which is it
