Tyla is now the face of Pandora.
The Grammy-winning artist, 23, has been named Pandora’s newest global ambassador and is looking effortlessly fly in her first of many campaigns for the global jewelry brand.
“Pandora Styled by Tyla” features a handpicked curation of charms that reflect on the South African songbird’s “journey, passions, and inspirations,” a press release reads.
The standout pieces are centered on Pandor’s widely popular charms, including the brand’s Cherry Blossom, which nods to the “Water” music video, and the Mini Shark Tooth Charm, a symbol of her South African heritage.
Each piece is worn on necklaces, bracelets, and even hoop earrings. For the campaign, Tyla stunned in a gold chain with her fanbase’s name spelled out in sparkly letter charms.
“Pandora…reminds me so much of home because my mom always made jewelry, and the birthstone charms remind me of the beads I used to have laying around in my house growing up,” Tyla said in a press release.
“Whenever our mother wanted us not to bother her, she’d give us a big container of beads and my sisters and I would make friendship bracelets all day.”
“Now,” she added, “my Tygers can have matching friendship bracelets with me.”
As for what her favorite pieces from her collection are, the “Push 2 Start” singer told Elle:
“I actually really like all the hectic charm bracelets. I love messy-looking stuff and all of the beads,” she said.
“When I see the Cherry Blossom, it reminds me of the hibiscus flower; when I released “Water,” I had that flower all over socials, and it was also in my music video. It really reminded me of that shift in my career.”
