Vanessa Bryant recently spotlighted a petition on Change.org hoping to conserve an emblematic mural of Kobe and Gianna Bryant.
According to Bleacher Report, the mural is featured prominently outside the Hardcore Fitness facility.
Vanessa Bryant is in support of a petition against the removal of a Kobe/Gigi mural just blocks away from Crypto Arena.
The landlord of the building of the business ‘Hardcore Fitness’ gave them a notice that the mural must be painted over by September 30th.

Why Vanessa Bryant Is Defending The Art

Months after the tragic helicopter crash in January 2020 that claimed the lives of Kobe, Gianna, and seven others, local artist Sloe Motions immortalized the father-daughter duo in an art piece.
The mural has since become a symbol of remembrance for many fans, but it’s now at risk of being erased.
Cecilia Moran, the visionary behind Hardcore Fitness, revealed troubling news concerning the mural’s future.
Apparently, the building’s owner wants the mural gone so he can use that space for advertisements.
But Moran is resistant to this move.
“What he has notified me is, if I don’t remove the mural by Dec. 31 he’s going to be doing it and I’ll have to pay all the costs that involves. I’m OK with that, because I refuse and I’m going to stand for what I believe. And what I believe is that’s not right.”
The movement to save this piece of art continues to gain traction.
At the time of this report, the petition boasts over 71,000 supporters, and Vanessa Bryant’s support is a major help.
The building’s owner, however, remains silent on the matter.
Damn that sucks 😡
