Tiktoker @Nessmonae has traction alopecia around her hairline and she decided to try a trick she saw on TikTok using human hair wefts.
She cut the human hair wefts, and strategically placed them in the areas where her hair is thinning. To seal the hair she used Got-To-Be glue spray allowing the hair to lay as natural as possible.
Her finished style is a cute slick ponytail!

On Instagram, Nessmonae shared that not having her edges is one of her biggest insecurities.
Read what she shared:
If you know me personally, you’d know that my edgelessness is my biggest, I mean biggest insecurity. People often ask why don’t I have edges as if I chose to not have them but hey that’s life! I was watching TikTok and I found a hack that I can use when I wanna wear a ponytail!
Y’all know my hair is short short, so this is how I get it done! I just use human hair (looks most natural), got to be spray, a slick stick, and some gel to slick it down. Lasts about 3 days. I spray a lil oil sheen on it to make it pop too.
Well sis you did that! Thank you for being vulnerable, many of us couldn’t do it.
