Kandi Burruss and her girls to Bravo for yet another reality show that I am secretly hoping is drama free.
Just a few months ago Xscape announced that they were reuniting and that they would be working on a docuseries to document the process.
As you all know this is the best way to get people excited about their work and music when they start to drop it.
Production sources tell TMZ … the all girl R&B super group is filming in ATL and the show will air on Bravo. We’re told it premieres in November … when ‘RHOA’ returns so it can piggyback off the show.
The show will follow all 4 members — Kandi Burruss, Tiny Harris, LaTocha and Tamika Scott — as they reunite to prepare for their first performance in over 20 years which takes place at Essence Festival later this month.
VH1’s mega-producer Mona Scott-Young, of the ‘Love & Hip Hop’ franchise, has signed on as executive producer.
For once Mona, please just allow the women to present a scripted version of how normal black women and friends behave towards each other. We can do without the negative stereotypes. #askingforafriend
