Life and time is so fleeting we aren’t surprised that the passing of Rich Homie Quan brought the value of friendship and brotherhood front and center for the Migos rappers.
In a short Instagram story post Quavo shared that he had a ‘good’ conversation with his bro, tagging Offset and adding the Migosc“Nothing Changed”.
It is obvious that the two are making strides to fix whatever is broken in their long time friendship, one that also included, Rich Homie Quan and of course Takeoff.
Quavo and Offset’s relationship has been tense since 2022, with Quavo alluding to issues between them.
The tragic loss of their fellow Migos member, TakeOff, only deepened the rift.
After the news of Rich Homie Quan’s passing on Thursday, Quavo posted a few nostalgic photos of Migos and Quan on his Instagram Stories, reminiscing about the good times.
In one of the images, fans noted a heartbroken emoji placed above Offset’s head, suggesting Quavo’s emotional reflection.
Earlier this year, Offset wished Quavo a happy birthday on Instagram, writing,
“Happy gday my brother @quavohuncho love you 4L,”.
Quavo has actively shut down rumors of the two fighting saying at one time:
“What tf look like fighting my brother yal n-ggas is crazy.” Then further clarifying on The Breakfast Club, saying, “That’s my brother at the end of the day. But we good, though. We were just with each other in Paris. We be talking ’cause we be going through little emotions with this, and it don’t be for the public.”
Quavo also said during an interview on Million Dollaz Worth of Game:
“I don’t feel like I owe it to people to show how much me and bro love each other … We went through something. We don’t have to show you n-ggas smiles and faces, so stop doing that. We ain’t on no sucker shit with each other. We both came in this together, and we both knew that, we understood that, and we lost our brother.”
