Graduation season is coming to a close, but one student has caught the eye of a stranger, and now he might not have to take a gap year as planned.
Instead of going to dinner or getting celebrated by family like some students, Mykale Baker went straight to work at Burger King hours after graduating ,proudly wearing all of his medals he received at the ceremony.
A customer, Maria Mendoza, noticed and posted a video of the young man to TikTok.

As you can imagine the video went super viral and the community encouraged her to start a GoFundMe for Mykale and in no time, donations rolled in.

Since the launch the fund has raised over $180K to support MyKale’s future which can certainly pay for his college endeavors.
