We all know how cruel Hollywood can be and Kim Coles Revelation about what she endured on the set of Living Single made us sad.
We all love the effortless energy Kim Coles brought to Living Single Synclaire’s light, bubbly spirit but in a recent episode of the Re-Living Single podcast, Kim shared that at the start of every new season, producers would call her team demanding she lose weight.
And when she didn’t? They warned:
“You keep gaining weight, we’re going to have to start writing fat jokes.”
They justified the necessity of the Fat Jokes claiming that the friend group would have to acknowledge at some point that Synclaire was gaining weight.
When the threats got worse, her co-stars stood up for her, Queen Latifa and Erika Alexander making it clear that no-one would be reading them.
