King Harris has some big goals and I have seen enough of life to know one should always ‘dream big’.
In a recent interview T.I and Tiny’s son said he plans to be “bigger” than the late King of Pop Michael Jackson.
According to COMPLEX the 21-year-old rapper, shared his plans to replicate the success of Michael Jackson on the Aug. 21 episode of Reginae Carter’s podcast Heir Time.
Around the 45-minute mark of the video below, Carter, who’s the daughter of Lil Wayne and Toya Johnson-Rushing, asked King about what he intends to do for the rest of his life.
“So, my goal is to be bigger than Michael Jackson,” King told a baffled Carter, who laughed.
“That’s my boy since I was a toddler,” he continued, adding that his infant son, King Jr., is a “Bob Marley type.”
“So that goal is just to keep me pushing,” continued Harris, who admitted being like MJ won’t be “easy to reach.”
“But my ‘heir time’ is just going to be being a father, an entrepreneur, taking risks
just spending time with my family, man, and just making memories and doing the things I enjoy for as long as I can do them,” he added.
Earlier in the conversation, King placed Jackson on his top three picks for “dead or alive” artists list along with the late XXXTentacion and Young Thug.
“I need Michael Jackson ’cause it’s like, bro, you’ll learn so much from that future,” he told Carter. “Take the future out. Just give me the studio session. Just let me come to the studio with Michael for a week or a month straight just to see what he do, just to pick up on game and learn and stuff like that.”
King welcomed his first child King Jr on Nov. 5 2024.
