LisaRaye McCoy is not one to be messed with.
In a candid chat with reality TV producer Carlos King, the Single Ladies actress, 57, revealed how she nearly came to blows with ex-friend Nicole Murphy over rumors of an affair with her ex-husband, Michael Misick, the former Premier of Turks & Caicos.
“I had checked the manifest of my plane because we owned a plane,” LisaRaye began. “She didn’t ride on it with me and nor did she receive an invitation from me.”
She added, “If you have a girlfriend that has her own island, I would think that you would call and say, ‘Hey girl, I’m coming’ because I was getting everybody to come. So why you would accept an invitation from him and you don’t even know him is unbeknownst to me. I don’t know how that could happen, do you? I guess not.”
LisaRaye said she initially tried to confront Murphy over the phone, but Nicole denied ever being on the plane or visiting Turks & Caicos and then allegedly hung up.
When Murphy stopped returning her calls, LisaRaye turned to her then-partner, NFL star Michael Strahan, to see if he knew anything about the trip.
After Strahan denied knowing anything, LisaRaye shared receipts of Murphy and Misick pulling up at the private airstrip and her confronting them in person.

LisaRaye admitted that her late mom warned her against Murphy at her bachelorette party.
“She said, ‘You gotta watch the one there.’ I was like who?” she recalled.
“That’s Eddie Murphy’s wife. I was like ‘nah.’ And you know when your mom tells you something about new school, you feel like you’re old school and she was right.”
Reflecting on her near-fight with Murphy “The Players Club” star said:
“I had too many thing going on, but I can’t say I didn’t try to get her. I had to let her know that I am not the one, or the two. Cause I’m not. I am not.”

Nicole Murphy has consistently denied the allegations. On The Wendy Williams Show in 2019, the model declared, “I did not break up LisaRaye’s marriage.”
That statement didn’t sit well with LisaRaye.
“She did this play on words,” she said at the time. “‘I did not break up LisaRaye’s marriage.’ I was like, ‘No, b***h. No. I never said you broke up my marriage. That’s not what I said.’
“She might want to see me and tell me that to my face. I would accept that.”
Da Brat, LisaRaye’s sister, later confirmed that Nicole Murphy and Michael Misick did, in fact, have an affair.
