A man posing as Sexxy Red’s manager has been arrested and charged with armed sexual battery and false imprisonment with a weapon, authorities report.
According to WPLG Local 10, Vladimir Joseph, a self-identified promoter was arrested in Miami Tuesday after he was accused of forcing a woman to do cocaine at gunpoint and raping her.
Florida authorities said the sexual assault took place on May 27 when Joseph met a woman at a Sexxy Red event at Booby Trap on the River strip club.
As the alleged victim was waiting outside, Joseph pulled up in a gray Lexus and said his name was “Alexander Beamer,” Sexxy Red’s manager.
The 41-year-old then allegedly put a gun on the woman’s head and forced her to take cocaine.
“Take it or I will kill you,” Joseph allegedly said. He then proceeded to rape her for “several hours.”
The victim also claimed Joseph recorded the assault on two separate cell phones. He reportedly “forced the victim to take a shower and continued sexually assaulting her again.”
Afterward, Joseph allegedly ordered the woman a Lyft and provided her with the rise details, which helped her identify her attacker in a police lineup and the location the assault occurred.
The police report states the victim tested positive for drugs but results from the rape kit were redacted from the report.
Joseph turned himself in on Tuesday (October 29). He is currently being held without bail at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
A rep for Sexxy Red told WPLG that, “Vladimir Joseph is not her manager.”
