Offset is claims he has no plans to ever Marry again and is advising other men to avoid it with one caveat.
According to VIBE in a recent sit-down for the Full Send Podcast, the rapper was asked if he would ever get married again.
At around the 39-minute mark, Offset confessed:
“No, it’s not for me.” He explained, “I’ve done it, had three kids with it. It’s like a mission that’s been complete.”
The host asked him if he would reconsider if he fell in love again.
“But you would never want to be, like, again married happily ever after, like ‘this is my chick forever’ type s**t?” he questioned. Offset, however, stood firm in his stance and replied, “Everything’s temporary.”
The Kiari emcee was then asked if he recommends marriage to others, and he immediately answered, “No.”
Offset explained, “I’ll tell you don’t get married […] unless you’re cool with changing your life entirely. If you got a partner, that’s different. Especially when it’s written and it’s a real thing.”
Start from the 39 minute mark:
With the demands that come with his career, the 33-year-old father of six believes that marriage doesn’t align with the hustle.
“Depends on how we move like our careers and s**t, it’s just hard […] I wouldn’t tell you to get married while you moving. Wait ‘till you get that money,” Offset advised. “I feel like you stay focused, too.”
Offset is currently divorcing his estranged wife, Cardi B. They began dating in 2017 and exchanged vows later that year.
Cardi announced their final split and third pregnancy in August 2024.
“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life, and most of all, renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!,” she wrote on Instagram. Throughout their relationship, they welcomed three children: daughter Kulture (in July 2018), son Wave (in September 2021), and daughter Blossom (in September 2024).
