Well Taraji has entered the chat, and from the looks of things she isn’t too happy with Keith Lee.
As we shared in this post there was a mixup at the BET Awards show between Keith Lee and Jordan Thee Stallion.
Taraji apologized for her mistake while at the show on the spot.
Improvising she said:
“Mr. Keith Lee, I know what you’re thinking right now, this is about a 10.9 outta 10?” she said to Howlett, who then pointed to Lee.
“I got caught up in my own inner monologue, I’m so sorry,” she said before repeating the same bit to Lee. “You fine, too,” she added. “So call me. Give him his flower.”
According to COMPLEX after the interaction, Lee posted a TikTok of him dropping the rose on the floor, which caused quite a stir.
“Our name will be known in every room it’s supposed to be, when it’s supposed to be, how it’s supposed, with no confusion. God is amazing,” he captioned the video, per Entertainment Tonight.
Lee further addressed the incident, saying that he isn’t “upset” at Henson, and that she “smoked it” at the awards show.
“I don’t believe for one second Taraji had any ill will or any ill intentions behind the situation,” he added. “The situation happened the way it did.”
After keith Lee addressed his TikTok where he dropped her rose and slammed BET production, Taraji took to social media with an opinion of her own.

“Life really is too short for this behavior. He wasn’t in his seat. They give celebrity assigned seats! I rehearsed all damn day to go hit my mark and that young man wasn’t in his seat so HE MISSED HIS MOMENT! His ego is hurt. He will be fine. I cleaned it up at the end of the show. No love lost here. #GodBless”
Keith has already made it clear that he was not mad at Taraji but like the other video with the dramatic Rose drop, that went over everyone’s head.
The Keith Lee convo is stupid— his ego was hurt. But it’s also not that serious… he don’t need to be cancelled. We also don’t need to be dragging Taraji.
