Ya’ll get into this story! According to News 12 a woman said she was sexually “violated” by an operator while parasailing during a vacation.
The New York Post said 52-year-old Michelle Wilson, a British mother of three, accused a parasailing operator sexually assaulting her while mid-air during a vacation at a beach in Sousse, Tunisia.
When speaking to The Sun, Wilson said:
“I could feel the back of my bikini bottoms being pulled” before accusing the operator of “pulling the strap” and “tightening the harness” to pull her closer.
Wilson, who visited with a friend, said she burst into tears after returning to the ground and reported the incident to local authorities.
Wilson said she and her friend had planned to take the ride together but went their separate ways due to wind conditions at the time. She added that her friend “had a great time with no problems,” per The Post.
“He was groping me and moving back and forth into me and talking to me in Arabic. I felt him pressing against me. I kept arching my back,” Wilson told the publication. “I felt violated and dirty and was scared. He was only a young lad, maybe around 20.”
According to The Post, Wilson visited Tunisia with her daughter, 17, her friend, and her twin sons, both 16. The trip, booked through EasyJet, cost around $8,000.
“As women you expect a bit of banter from men in these countries, but this wasn’t banter, it was a sexual assault,” Wilson said when speaking to The Sun.
According to The Post, EasyJet, Wilson’s insurance company, and authorities in the United Kingdom are investigating the incident.
Wilson told The Sun that the incident ruined her vacation, adding that she believes the operator has since been arrested.
