According to VIBE DreamDoll has made no secret of having gone under the knife to achieve her hourglass figure, but now believes she’s ready to return to her naturally svelte physique, as the popular Brazilian Butt Lift and similar procedures are slowly becoming passé.
During a visit to The Zeze Millz Show, the Life In Plastic rapper revealed that coming up in the NYC rap scene influenced her decision to get surgery, believing it would help her career.
“I went and got surgery, and I want to transition back to my natural body,” she explained, adding that she believes the BBL look is now “out of fashion.” When asked how she would go about reclaiming her own frame, the Bronx-bred rapper shared that she’s already begun the process by getting a butt reduction, which she described as, “lipo, just on your butt.”
“I feel like natural bodies and more slim, slim thick, I feel like that’s what’s in right now,”
she went on, with Millz asking if that was her natural body type.
“Yes, no ass at all,”
It isn’t all about the aesthetic, however, as the “You Know My Body” spitter is also tired of dealing with the pain associated with her breast augmentation.
“I wish I could have my A-cups back so bad…I miss little boobs,” she confessed. “They be hurting your back and stuff.”
Milllz then asked about the over-sexualization of “BBL” body types, which DreamDoll acknowledged before adding that her figure also makes it difficult to shop, as everything needs to be tailored to fit unnatural proportions.
“Nothing fits. Like, all my stuff has to be custom, tailored, it’s a lot of maintenance, and I’m tired! I’m sick and tired, and I’m tired of seeing it.”
DreamDoll was then asked about her possible influence over younger women who may have signed up for various procedures, and while she wasn’t willing to carry that weight on her shoulders (“Whatever you do to your body is on you“), she is open with women who ask about her experiences, and now acknowledges,
“If i woulda knew what I knew now, I would’ve never done it.”
