Earlier this week Jeannie Mae announced that she was expecting her first child with her husband Jeezy, and since then many have questioned the fact that she changed her mind about having children.
There were a ton of comments speculating about how her ex-husband Freddy Harteis must feel since she did not want children with him.
Most of us have settled on the fact that when you find the right one, your mind can change on many things including having children.
Jeannie said herself:
“My entire life, I never wanted children. When I say never, I’m talking a hard-stop never.” Following the miscarriage, she found herself reflecting on her change of heart.
“Falling in love with Jeezy made me see life differently for myself. Our love is honest, pure, and safe…something I hadn’t felt as a child,” Jeannie says.
It wasn’t until she met him that she could envision fostering the happy environments she and Jeezy missed out on growing up.
So how does Freddy feel about it?
Turns out he responded to a few comments on a post done by the website Sisters Sipping Tea, that spoke to exactly how he feels.
The comment he responded to said:
“Her first husband probably biting bricks and screamin rn”
Then Freddy Harties (Instagram handle @hollywoodhunter) responded:
“Still don’t give a sh*t”
He also responded to another comment that said “when you know you know” mentioning that in Jeannie Mae’s case she didn’t want to have a child with her ex-husband.
To which he responded:
Yep I upgraded from trash to treasure a long time ago, best decision I ever made, congratulations, being truly happy is an awesome feeling, I love my little family”.

Why the Freddy and Linsey never spoke out earlier
In an exclusive with The Neighborhoodtalk, screenshots were shared showing some of the reasons, the couple did not speak their mind in the early years of Jeannie Mae’s split with then-husband Freddy.
According to the blog, Jeannie Mae’s ex-husband did not want his fiance to do an interview with someone who was in ‘brown culture’. He told her they can be protective and vindictive.
