Update: Babyface posted on Instagram that he is saddened by his removal from Anita Baker’s “The Songstress Tour”.

We cannot say we did not see this coming! Anita Baker has announced that Babyface will no longer be on her tour.
In her post, Anita writes:
“After Silently, Enduring Cyber Bulling/Verbal Abuse & Threats of Violence from the Fan Base, of Our Special Guest /Support Act. In the Interest of Personal Safety. I will continue, The Songstress Tour, alone. Appropriate refunds will be made.”

Anita Baker has been clapping back at fans all week long, as we reported yesterday. But in addition to accusing Babyface fans of cyber bullying she also has contractual issues.
According to TMZ on Monday, Anita ripped into Babyface and a random smattering of his followers on Twitter, continuing her tirade from the day before.
She said Babyface has been breaching his contract as an opening act by staying onstage past his set time, which cuts into her headlining performance.
After this week’s tweets many of us concluded that it is probably better if she toured alone.
