A child is viral today after she was recorded screaming at NYPD near a department store.
The NYPD thought her mother had stolen something from the store and placed her mother under arrest.

In an update to this incident, the aunt of the child posted a GoFundMe for $50K explaining the incident from their perspective.
On May,25,2024 – Me, My sister and my niece went to New York City to do a little shopping for an upcoming graduation !
We entered the store Moncler and was immediately racially profiled. We all noticed that we were being followed and talked about .
As me and my niece was trying on sunglasses an argument broke out between a security guard and my sister about us being followed and talked about even tho we gave them no reason to do so, we was asked to leave the store.
Not being aware that I still had the glasses on my head we was escorted out.
An hour later while we were in a different store multiple police officers swarmed the store we where in accusing us of stealing !
Once I realized I still had the glasses on I gave my apologies and told them if they can rewind the video from inside the store they can see that it was an complete accident one cop verified my story while the other cops stilll arrested me & my sister and traumatized my niece !
we are asking for donations for a lawyer to get these charges dropped ,file a lawsuit and counseling for my niece who has already witnessed tragic events and the death of her father !
