The new Texas abortion law has most of us scratching our heads and Texas resident Claudia Jordan is speaking out about it in no uncertain terms.
The law prohibits most abortions after six weeks and went into effect on Wednesday, it was drafted by Texas lawmakers and is now being viciously challenged.
On Twitter Claudia shared her sentiments by telling women to go on what she calls a #coochiestrike!

Well Texas ladies—- especially those who unfortunately are being screwed by Texas republicans—time to go on a #CoochieStrike until they take this dumb law off the books! #NoChoiceNoAss

She goes on to share:
Control ya own dicks instead of trying to regulate a woman's uterus. Period.

And so it begins….just saw a story where a rape survivor just found out she was impregnated by HER RAPIST—she called Planned Parenthood and was denied an abortion since she found out she was pregnant at 6 weeks. This is going to be a disaster. Imagine the trauma to that woman

In addition to those tweets, she is also calling out companies who have businesses in Texas and who aren’t standing up to governing bodies with regards to the legislation:

We arent sure a #coochiestrike is the answer to this law but we do know there is a deep underlying reason this law was passed and it has nothing to do with Human Rights.
To provide a little more detail, according to the NY Times:
The law in Texas says doctors cannot perform abortions if a heartbeat is detected, activity that starts at around six weeks, before many women are even aware they are pregnant.
Many states have passed such bans, but the law in Texas is different. It was drafted to make it difficult to challenge in court.
