The repercussions of her viral moment on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta continue to affect Erica Mena.
The Allblk network has made an official statement indicating that Mena will no longer be involved in their original drama series, Hush.
“We cannot endorse Erica Mena’s regrettable remarks. While she will be featured in the upcoming season of Hush, which was filmed several months ago and is set to premiere later this year, she will not be considered for future seasons. Mena had previously appeared in all eight episodes of Season 1 of the show.”
This development follows just over a week after Mena’s removal from Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.
A statement from the show’s producers stated, “In collaboration with our partners, the consequences of Erica Mena’s comments will be evident in the remaining three episodes of the season.
Consequently, she will not be featured in the upcoming season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, effective immediately.” This decision was prompted by Mena’s use of a derogatory term, referring to fellow L&HH:A cast member Spice as a “monkey” in a recent episode of the show.
Spice has since spoken out about how she feels about the incident, saying emphatically that she will not be made to ‘feel crazy’.

Spice is facing some critisim herself after the posting of the above video.
In the latest episode of the show, Spice referred to co-star Bambi Benson as a “giraffe.”
Although “giraffe” lacks the same racial connotations as “monkey,” there are several individuals who argue that Spice should face consequences for her comment as well.
This is a developing story.
