Burna Boy sampled Toni Braxton’s classic 2000 record “He Wasn’t Man Enough” for his hit song ‘Last Last”.
The track is produced by Chopstix and the African Giant was not shy about how the collaboration came about.
In an interview with the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast he said:
“It was actually my idea, to be honest,” …“I always wanted to use that sample and I knew Chopstix could do something crazy with it. I just pointed that sh-t out and he took it from there. That’s one of the most special creative processes ever, but she is taking 60 percent of the sh-t.”
Then he said:
“I’m not complaining, man. Hopefully, she even pops out to one of the shows,” he told the hosts.
Well be careful what you hope for, because sis did her thing in ATL!
