Recently Jhene Aiko’s daughter Namiko, hopped on live to interact with followers and seemingly responded to speculation that Big Sean is her father.
Even though she was reacting to comments, social users were quick to take note of her tone when she mentioned Big Sean.
She said:
My dad is not Big Sean bro I dunno why people think that, I do not look like that man, that’s not my dad, that’s not my dad at all, mm mmmm not my father.
When a follower asked her if she was close to Sean she said:
Yea we get along, because he’s been like around and we’re cool, sooooo… yea
Watch:
Even though Namiko was just saying what was obvious people are questioning her tone.
On Instagram one user wrote:
If my bonus kids/kid ever refer too me as “THAT LADY” them and their daddy can go. In my mind that term “that lady, that man” gives off very much I don’t f u c k with them not do I have respect for them
This commenter said it sounds like she tolerates Sean.
idk but she sound like she doesn’t like Big Sean but tolerates him b/c her Mom is happy & they have a family.. ??♀️
and another:
Why is her tone so sassy & dismissive about him? What he do to you? It’s kind of disrespectful.
Jhene to check her it’s inappropriate . If he’s not hurting or abusing her what’s all that for? do that privately, why put it on social media?
Some commenters think she shouldn’t be on social media:
she’s doing too much talking and why did she say it like that? Are Big Sean & Jhene not together anymore?
She don’t need no social media cuz we never thought that anyways girl big Sean don’t wanna be yo daddy girl he already ya mama daddy and your brother
and
A simple that’s not my dad would be ok like all the “that man” like ion even know why your being asked if he’s your dad in the first place
Jhene Aiko and Big Sean recently welcomed their first child together and they were seen on stage at Usher’s Lovers and Friends.
At the concert Sean praised Jhene publicly about how she has been handeling motherhood.
According to Vibe he said:
“It took her so much to get up on this stage, because she’s so hands-on with him,” Big Sean started about Jhené leaving their son’s side to perform. “She’s so nurturing, breastfeeding every, you know… ti**ies breastfeeding, not just pumping, aight? She really nurtures and takes care of this baby and it took a lot for her to get up on stage.
“So I appreciate all the love you guys are showing her. And shoutout to all the mommas out there really doing their thing too, ’cause I don’t know how y’all do it, man. Jhené, I love you, great show. Good job, keep going,” he ended before giving his girl a playful pat on the backside.
Namiko’s dad is O’Ryan Omir Browner, known simply as O’Ryan. He is an R&B singer and songwriter who is the older brother of fellow R&B singer Omarion.
Jhene Aiko and O’Ryan co-parent Namiko together.
Do you think Namiko’s tone was a little off? or was she simply frustrated about being asked the same thing over and over again.
Is social media reading too much into her response?
