12 yr old Shai Moss is making it clear to both her parents, Joie Chavis and Bow Wow that she no longer wants to be filmed and she does not want to “act”.
Shai and her mother Joie have been making social media content together for a long time often taking on some of the most popular tiktok dances for the entertainment of their social media fans.
Now Shai would like all of it to stop!
Joie could not hide her disappointment when she explained to fans why they have not seen consistent videos of her daughter recently.
while in her car Joie said that people have been asking her why they have not seen Shai anymore, to which she responded.
“Shai will not let me record her….I don’t know what it is, I don’t know if its because she is about to be a teenager….She just does not like being recorded, she is like mom stop, mom stop….even if I sneak and do it, she get’s so mad.”
Joie then goes on to say that when she asks her daughter what’s the problem, she says “I just don’t want to be recorded, and I don’t want to act either”.
Shai said she just wants to be a kid, play sports and have friend’s, but her mom thinks she should be getting to the bag because of her talent.

Even though Joie was clear that she was not putting any pressure on her daughter, social media is calling her out for saying Shai should want to get to the bag.

Probably an unpopular opinion ? but allow her to be a kid and find her own way. Be thankful you’re raising what appears to be a good level headed young lady. Too many people are focused on all the ways to be in the bag and forcing their kids to do it. Social media has age limits for a reason. If she doesn’t want to be respect that, always be her mom first, it will strengthen the bond between you guys. She’s 12 she needs to be in the books not in the bag. When she decides what she wants to do and what she wants her presence to be on social media she knows she has two loving parents to help guide her when she’s ready. ❤️
