Lil Wayne recently expressed his sentiments about his wax figure exhibited at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
The figure prominently features the legendary rapper’s ink-decorated torso, donning a loosely fitted shirt adorned with white polka dots and a pair of red and blue checkered trousers.
This wax figure has been part of the museum’s collection since the previous summer, but it has recently gained widespread attention on social media, albeit for less favorable reasons.
According to Billboard one person wrote:
“They did Lil Wayne FILTHYYYY,”
“This Lil Wayne wax figure looks less like him than the first time I did acid and I stupidly went on my phone and saw a picture of Birdman and Lil Wayne and for a second I thought their faces morphed together,” another wrote.
Others said the figure resembled other artists, like Toosii or Jacquees.
Weezy himself finally stepped in and shared his own two cents on the matter. “Sorry wax museum but dat sh– ain’t me! You tried tho and I appreciate the effort,” the rapper wrote.

The news of Lil Wayne’s controversial figure arrives a day after Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made a statement about his own wax figure at the Grévin Museum in Paris, France.
Fans also flooded social media with their thoughts on the “white-washed” wax figure of the actor, who was born to a Black Nova Scotian father and Samoan mother.
“For the record, I’m going to have my team reach out to our friends at Grevin Museum, in Paris France so we can work at ‘updating’ my wax figure here with some important details and improvements- starting with my skin color,”
Johnson wrote on Instagram.
A wax museum in Paris said it would work on fixing its recently unveiled statue of Dwayne Johnson, which had a noticeably lighter skin tone than the actor’s, after a week of ridicule on social media and a plea from the Rock himself. https://t.co/5eHRo54sOR
