Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka have officially broken up after seven years because Tanaka wants children while Carey doesn’t.
According to Page Six, the 14-year age gap between 40-year-old Tanaka and 54-year-old Carey was a major factor in their split.
A source spilled the beans:
“He wants to have a family. That’s not where she is at.”
Carey already has two kids, 12-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, with ex-hubby Nick Cannon.
However, Tanaka doesn’t have any kids.
There Were Signs Mariah Carey And Bryan Tanaka Had Split

Fans raised eyebrows when they noticed the Queen of Christmas heading to Aspen on her annual trip alone.
They also noticed that Tanaka wasn’t present at Carey’s “Merry Christmas One and All!” tour, which kicked off in November at California’s Yaamava Resort & Casino in Highland, Calif.
Tanaka was a dancer for Carey from 2006, and they started going out in 2016.
Mariah Carey also fueled speculation that she was single when she revealed to People that her year had been tough.
“I’ve been looking forward to this Christmas for, like, the whole year. Since last year — because last year wasn’t the greatest… I’m thankful for them all, but it wasn’t my most fun version of Christmas ever.”
The singer also swore to enjoy herself this holiday season “come hell or high water.”
We last saw Carey and Tanaka together in March at her birthday party.
While this isn’t the first time Carey and Tanaka have broken up–they split in 2017 but quickly got back together–this time feels final.
