If you’re a Nicki Minaj fan, we’ve got bad news: you’ll have to wait almost one month longer to listen to her new album.
According to The Fader, the album should have been released on November 17.
However, its new release date is December 8.
But it’s not all doom and gloom: December 8 is Minaj’s 41st birthday.
The Delay Might Just Heighten Anticipation For Nicki Minaj’s Latest Album
The rapper made the announcement on Instagram Live.
“The new album date for this incredible body of work, that I am so proud of is on a special day to me and to the Barbz — it will come out on my birthday… Pink Friday 2 I am so happy to announce will be out on my birthday.”
Minaj’s last album is 2018’s Queen, a follow-up to her 2010 debut album, Pink Friday.
Earlier this month, the rapper Minaj remixed Drake’s For All The Dogs track, “All The Parties.”
She also dropped her latest single in September, “The Last Time I Saw You.”
