T.I. and Tameka “Tiny” Harris are entering a new and exciting chapter in their lives—grandparenthood.
The couple, who have been married for 14 years, are now grandparents to two little ones, with a third on the way, courtesy of their 20-year-old son, King.
This news was revealed during an interview on Atlanta’s Hot 107.9, where T.I. and Grand Hustle artist Young Dro were promoting their latest track, “Thank God,” featuring Kirk Franklin.
During the conversation, T.I. took a moment to reflect on his growing family. With their eldest children moving out, T.I. and Tiny are nearing the stage of having an almost empty nest.
“It’s great to have them doing their own thing out of my house,” T.I. shared, expressing pride in his children’s newfound independence and understanding of responsibility. He mentioned that his 23-year-old son, Domani, has recently become a homeowner and a father for the first time. “I find pleasure in watching the realization kick in like, ‘D**n, I been messing up folk money all these years,’ you know? And he just became a father. So I got two grandchildren.”
The proud father and grandfather didn’t stop there. T.I. also revealed,
“I got a grandson on the way. King’s bout to have a son.” With his signature humor, he added, “I told him I’mma make this the greatest gangsta of all time. I will raise this child to torture you the way you tortured me. I promise you there will be an indictment in this young one.”
Beyond King and Domani, T.I. is also a father to Messiah, whom he shares with Lashon Dixon, Deyjah from a previous relationship with Ranniqua Brannum, and Major and Heiress, his children with Tiny.
As they embrace their roles as grandparents, T.I. and Tiny continue to support their children as they navigate the responsibilities of adulthood.
