According to Forbes Kanye West’s anti-Semitic and controversial remarks, have led to companies including CAA and Balenciaga severing ties with the rapper, while Adidas has put its relationship with him “under review.”
Adidas, who has distributed West’s Yeezy brand since 2013 and is responsible for a large portion of his wealth, has remained silent since saying a few weeks ago it was reviewing its relationship with West.
On Thursday, the Anti-Defamation League called on Adidas to drop West.
Demands for the brand to cut ties with West intensified over the weekend, when a small group of anti-Semitic protestors in Los Angeles were spotted holding signs that said “Kanye West was right about the Jews.”
Members of the California Legislative Jewish Caucus responded Monday by saying “any company—including Adidas—that continues to do business with Kanye West is party to this attack on Jews.”
Ye’s take on it was clear:
.@adidas the silence speaks for itself. You are absolutely aware of this issue. You have chosen to say nothing either for profit or sympathy for @kanyewest cause, the promotion of hate. https://t.co/YGv3ToYP3z

West is worth $2 billion, according to Forbes estimates, though he could lose his billionaire status if Adidas drops him.
West is also no longer with record label Def Jam—a Universal Music Group subsidiary—as he has fulfilled his contract, Forbes reported Thursday, and his own label, G.O.O.D. Music, is no longer linked to Def Jam, the New York Times reported Monday.
Kim Kardashian spoke out on Monday saying:
Hate speech is never OK or excusable. I stand together with the Jewish community and call on the terrible violence and hateful rhetoric towards them to come to an immediate end.

Acording to People The 42-year-old SKIMS founder’s statement came after Boy George lashed out at her on social media for failing to condemn the 45-year-old rapper’s remarks.
Earlier this month, West shared in now-deleted social media posts that he wanted to go “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.”
‘I’m kind of appalled that not more artists have come out and spoke against what he’s saying,” the Culture Club singer, 61, said on Instagram.
“I’m appalled that Kim Kardashian hasn’t come out and added her voice to this debate, because this woman has children with Kanye, so she must understand as a mother what it feels like for little Jewish children to hear these f—ing comments, how demoralizing and terrifying it must be.”
He added: “As a gay man I have experienced years of prejudice, so the idea of doing that to someone else based on their race or their color or their sexuality or their gender is just f—ing appalling to me, and it should be appalling to you.”
Can anyone tell me did #KimKardashian make a statement when Kanye spoke about George Floyd? As a mother who has children with a Black man in America it seems like that would be important. Did she make a statement standing with the Black community as well? https://t.co/XV8hbU3DiR
