Now here come Tommy with a little ‘Will tried to fight me over Jada’ story time! Shannon Sharpe chose violence today when he conveniently dropped a clip from his Tommy Davidson interview for his popular podcast Club Shay Shay.
On the clip the actor spoke about an altercation where Will Smith tried to ‘beat him up’ in his movie trailer for allegedly kissing Jada Pinkett.
This incident reportedly occurred in 1998 while filming the movie “Woo.”
Although Davidson has previously discussed this altercation, the timing of Shannon Sharpe sharing this promotional clip couldn’t be more opportune, given the recent revelation of Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith’s seven-year separation.
Davidson recounted the incident, saying:
“He came into the trailer, and I was seated, while he stood over me like this. Then he said, ‘Hey, hey, I don’t appreciate that.’ I replied, ‘What are you talking about?’ because I always knew how to play it off.”
He further explained that Will continued to loom over him and was visibly perturbed, biting his lip, which signaled to Davidson that he was genuinely upset.
Consequently, Davidson attempted to persuade Will to step outside for a conversation about the matter.
