When Justina performed at the Super Bowl, she became the first female deaf ASL performer to do so in history.

In an interview with CNBC, the interpreter considered the opportunity she received a great honor.

She wants deaf people everywhere to enjoy significant events like the Super Bowl without feeling like they are missing out.

I value the opportunity to make it possible for all deaf people to enjoy these songs and not have them miss out on the full Super Bowl experience.

She Competed in The Deaflympics

Justina was part of the 2021-2022 Brazil Deaflympics.

She represented the USA through the 4×100 women’s track relay team and took home the silver medal.

It’s like Justina succeeds in everything she tries.

The Super Bowl wasn’t the first time Justina went viral.

That honor belongs to 2020 when she participated in the TikTok #crushonyouchallenge.

Justina performed part of Lil Kim’s hit song, “Crush on You.”

She used the social media network to inspire other deaf persons and posts relatable content for them.

The ASL entertainer attends Bowie State University and is pursuing nursing.

She was the valedictorian in her high school year at the Model Secondary School for the Deaf in Washington, D.C.
