Most of us are familiar with “Ciara’s prayer”, …… the one she used to ‘manifest’ her Hubby Russell Wilson.
Well, Angela Simmons is revealing she had a prayer too, but her prayer was a little bit different.
Angela Simmons swung by V-103 Atlanta’s Big Tigger Morning Show to chat about her relationship with rapper Yo Gotti and spill the beans on what she’s really digging about him the most.
“He’s one of my biggest inspirations, and we just get each other,” ….“He’s a hustler. I love watching him. He inspires me to do better, be better. I’m really happy with him. I think he’s a great person. Not think…I know.”
Angela’s Prayer
During the interview with Tigger Angela said her prayer simply asked God to help her to surrender to the process of finding love.
“I was just like ‘Look, God, I’m cool with whatever it is at this point,’” she says. “’Whether I’m going to be in a relationship or not be in a relationship,’ and we just winded up in a relationship together. It was crazy.”
“To me, that was my prayer. I was like, ‘I’m cool, it is what it is.’ I don’t want to be in nothing that isn’t for me. And when that happened, I was like, it’s kind of crazy.”
“I knew what I deserved, and I definitely didn’t settle for anything less. And again, I just believe in timing. I just feel like everything was about the timing.”
Let’s talk about Yo Gotti’s prayer though
Here’s the thing, while Angela prayed for proper alignment we know for sure Yo Gotti manifested the sh*t out of his relationship with Angela.
According to Yahoo in 2015, the musician first proclaimed his love for the former reality star in his hit song “Down in the DM,” rapping:
“And I just followed Angela [Simmons] / Boy, I got a crush on Angela Simmons / They like, ‘Damn Gotti, you bold’ / F—k it, I’m gon’ let the world know.”
Gotti, 42, expressed his crush on Simmons, 35, again in his 2017 song “Save It For Me” when she was engaged to Sutton Tennyson, who was shot and killed on November 3, 2018.
They shared a 6-year-old son Sutton Joseph.
The two continued to connect throughout the years and by January 1st, 2023 they did a hard launch of their relationship on social media.

Now that Gotti got has his girl, he still has not stopped celebrating her.
According to People on Friday (August 4), Gotti released his latest mixtape I Showed U So featuring the single “The One,” which arrives alongside a PDA-filled music video starring Gotti and Simmons that premiered exclusively on PEOPLE.

When Angela was asked about marriage during her interview she said the two aren’t in any rush but are more focused on being present and enjoying the relationship moment by moment.
