In a series of tweets singer Ari Lennox said she was arrested while at Amsterdam airport after being racially profiled by the staff.
She arrived in Amsterdam on Sunday and her first Tweet was simply ‘Hi Amersterdam” and things escalated from there.

Moments after that the Shea Butter Baby singer said :
Fuck Amsterdam security. They hate black people.

Then she shared with her audience that she was being arrested:

She added “Racism. Wow Amsterdam I’m horrified. I was so happy to travel and this evil woman… I’ve never experienced racism so blatant.”
“I just want to go home,” she continued. “I’ll never leave my house again.”
According to Revolt Dutch military police, which is reportedly in charge of security at the airport, Lennox was arrested for disturbing public order, being aggressive toward an airline official and public intoxication.
“Our unit found a woman full of emotions that wouldn’t calm down,” police spokesperson Robert van Kapel told Reuters. “That’s why she had to be taken into custody.”
The spokesperson also said police are investigating threats Lennox allegedly made toward the airline official. It’s unclear when the “Unloyal” singer will be released from police custody and as of 10 a.m. EST, she hasn’t provided any further updates on Twitter.
