Among the exciting reveals in this year’s San Diego Comic-Con was the first-ever clip of ‘Young Love,’ the brainchild of none other than the Oscar-winning Matthew A. Cherry.
The upcoming animation is all about the Young family.
You might remember them from the hit short film ‘Hair Love.’
The lovable millennial parents, Stephen and Angela, plus their daughter Zuri and her furry sidekick, Rocky the cat, are back on the screen.
According to Vulture, Angela has returned home after a hospital stay, but it’s not all smooth sailing for the family.

Though he might have thought his hair-styling days were over, Stephen returns to the salon chair.
It’s thanks to his little girl, Zuri, not wanting to look like a toddler on the (imaginary) red carpet.
