Did you know that Jonathon Majors does not watch his own work on film? During an interview on the Today show the Creed crooner, admitted that he doesn’t watch his own work.
He even went as far as saying he wouldn’t even look at his Ebony cover if it didn’t bang his phone every 8 minutes.”
In an interview with Higher Learning Podcast Majors said the reason he doesn’t watch is that it’s simply “not [his] business”.
He made it clear that he is more invested in the process than he is in what it looks like, often telling directors ‘no disrespect’ but I probably won’t be watching.
When he was pressed on how exactly he avoids the scenes during playback he said:
“So I’ve seen that stuff, yeah. I mean, and I can just see a quick image and I’ll go, ‘Oh yeah, cool, cool.’ But I actually– I’m trying to avert my eyes as much as possible.”
On the Today show during a segment with Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones, they played a scene from Creed and Jonathan admitted once again that he knows the scene but he hasn’t watched it prior to the interview.
When the ladies pressed him on it, he said he had no desire to watch.
