Reality stars from Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta are getting major deals in the music industry, and Karlie Redd is just the latest.
Legacy Records, a “cryptocurrency label”, has just signed a global multi-million dollar deal with her. Legacy Records has that moniker because, according to a press release, it only pays its artists through cryptocurrency.
Redd becomes the record label’s first female artist. To celebrate this partnership, they hosted a red-carpet dinner event at Spice House Restaurant in Atlanta. The event was both to preview Karlie’s music and to kick off her record deal.

The guest list included other Love & Hip Hop stars Jhonni Blaze and Rasheeda and Kirk Frost, along with Redd’s manager Ryan Fionda, Chief Creative Officer Walid Azami, entertainment lawyer Navarro Gray, and CEO Keishia McLeod.
In a press conference, McLeod revealed that she was drawn into Karlie’s versatility and hustle.
She was impressed by how the star understands the importance of a varied skill set. She also liked Karlie’s hunger and humility, even with her impressive portfolio.
To McLeod, the star has already accomplished the equivalent of what 10 women combined can do, and she’s just getting started.
McLeod predicted that this coming decade will become the most successful one of Karlie’s life, especially since she’s already a strong woman who wants to help others do the same.
Redd isn’t wasting any time. She has already started working on a dancehall album to honor her Trinidadian heritage.
She is working on it with Grammy-nominated producer Luke Nasty as well as Spice, Sean Garrett, Jonny Blaze, and more.
The star has also been busy since she released her singles “Heartbreaker” ft Young Dro, “Put You On” ft Mr. Vegas and Show Banga, and “Ferrari Karlie”. Other than the record deal, she also founded a restaurant with Ne-Yo and his wife Crystal. Johnny’s Chicken & Waffles is a thriving restaurant with two branches now.
Karlie has starred in Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta from Season 1. She has also appeared on Bounce TV’s Saints & Sinners, and played minor roles in other TV shows and movies.
Karlie’s new album drops in 2022.
