Chile Kenya had to hop on social media to set a few folks straight about her hair and how she feels about Beyonce’s viral wash day moment on Monday.
On Instagram a fan reacted to Beys video saying:
Kenya Moore is shaking in her boots.
Kenya responded :
NOPE I was the first celebrity to do it bc of my passion for hair and I’m proud of Beyonce. there is room for us all.
But Kenya did not stop there!
She decided to make an example out of the comment in video format sharing her own natural hair using her hair products Kenya Moore Haircare.
On Instagram she wrote:
As founder and CEO of @kenyamoorehair, a #blackowned small business (for now) who has grown a company from the ground up to now being sold in @cvspharmacy and @sallybeauty and growing, I am so proud of @beyonce and all of the female entrepreneurs in the the hair care space.
Please ditch the crabs in a barrel mentality and let’s support each other. There is room for us all. ????

Her comment section showed a ton of support for her sentiments:
Why are black women always putting other black women against each other?? Kenya and Bey are two beautiful black women with beautiful hair end of discussion! Love me some Kenya Moore!❤️
Always room at the top ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Congratulations beautiful ????????
It’s so sad that only Black people do this. No one tells L’Oréal that they should be shaking in their boots over Mabeline or Mac or Kylie Cosmetics….there’s room at the table for multiple successful, Black-owned hair care lines!!
The CEO of Beyonce’s company isn’t black. People don’t have to put Kenya, Taraji, nor Tracee down to elevate anyone else. Anyways, my wife and I have been using and loving Kenya’s products for years. We plan on using them on our kids when we have children.
On Twitter it was the same thing:
It’s just sickening seeing people try to put two amazing black women against each other just because they’re in the same line of business …just like @KenyaMoore said there is room for everyone…. Now can yall please stop with that mess ???? #kenyamoorehaircare #CECRED pic.twitter.com/RygiQTyiv6
