Update 04/12/2022: Kerrion Franklin spoke to Larry Reid on the phone. He said he has been asking for medical attention but has been ignored.
He said after he was already booked in jail, they are putting extra charges on him which he has never seen before even though he has been arrested before.
Larry Reid asked him why he was stopped but if you listen to the audio he doesn’t seem to answer the question directly.
He said that there were 8 police vehicles surrounding him and that he has been stopped before in the same car, so he isn’t sure about the rumor that the car was part of a murder plot.
He said he has had the car for three years and the woman who sold him the car was alive at the time of purchase.

04/11/2022:
It is being reported that Kirk Franklin’s son Kerrion Franklin is currently arrested because of charges in Texas.
He is being held without bond.
According to Larry Reid, Kerrion called him directly and told him he was initially pulled over for a busted tail light, but they are adding charges to him.
