Lil Wayne has revealed that he was “treated like sh*t’ when attending a Thursday night game between the Lakers and the Wizards.
According to Complex, the rap legend took to X to vent out his frustration.
Weezy theorized that his past comments about Lakers player Anthony Davis led to his poor treatment.
“Wow! Got treated like shit at the Laker game just now. [B]ut I figured they’d do me that sooner or later either bc of what i said abt AD or simply bc they don’t fwm which I been got that vibe from em as well so all good I get it. Fuck em. It isn’t what it isn’t. I’m used to it.”
Last Year, Lil Wayne Was Candid About His Thoughts On The Lakers
Last November, Lil Wayne appeared on UNDISPUTED and asked to share his thoughts on the Lakers.
His first reaction was:
“I feel good.”
However, when asked specifically about Anthony Davis, Weezy didn’t mince words.
“If you ask me, if the Lakers want to be a championship team and in the future as well, you gotta get rid of AD.”
Why did Weezy feel that way?
“Because he’s AD, plain and simple.”
However, the rapper changed his mind last month, saying no other player can “replace what he can do” on the court.
