Lizzo is making her relationship Instagram official, calling it a ‘hard launch’ and we couldn’t get enough.
Lizzo has been dating TV Personality Myke Wright and even though they have been seen publicly together the two attended Clive Davis’ annual Pre-Grammys party taking enough pictures to seal the deal.
So who is Myke Wright, you might ask?
Here is what we know!
According to People, Lizzo and Wright actually go way back. Before going public with their romance, the two were cohosts for MTV’s music series Wonderland in 2016.
Myke was raised in Detroit and is a comedian and previously appeared on Adam Devine’s House Party and Laughs.
Additionally, Wright has a handful of acting credits, including How to Be a Grown Up, Doubting Thomas, and the short Tell Me What You Know About Cyrus, per his IMDb page.
According to VoyageLA after “juggling music, video production, and attending Art College,” per the publication, he eventually decided to move to Los Angeles in 2012 to pursue a career as a standup comedian.
Myke Wright is also a musician
Another thing Wright has in common with Lizzo is their shared love of music.
While Lizzo is well-known for her singing career, Wright was previously a part of two different bands.
In high school, he formed an all-Black rock band, The Grey Level, with three of his best friends and later formed an alternative hip hop group called Phresh Heir, per his interview with VoyageLA.

Lizzo says she and Myke Wright are “locked in”
In October 2022, marriage seemed to be off the table for Lizzo and Wright — unless it was a smart business move.
“I’ve known him for over six years. He’s everything. We’re just in love. And that’s it,” she told Vanity Fair. “People fight for monogamy like they pray to it every day. I am not a polyamorous person, I’m not in love with multiple partners. That is not me. He’s the love of my life. We are life mates.”
Lizzo added: “Do I want to get married? If I wanted to start a business with him, I’d get married because that’s when your finances come together.”
But the “Juice” singer didn’t shut down the possibility of marriage when Howard Stern asked about the couple’s future plans during an interview in December 2022.
“We’re not playing any games with each other anymore. We’re very much locked in,” she said. “This is official. There’s nobody else I’m going to be with for the rest of my life.”
