Tiktoker Kaela Anne has her own skin care line, so she might know a thing or two about skincare.
Recently she called out Lori Harvey who shared one of her tried and true beauty secrets.
Lori said she uses Fage as a mask to remove dark marks after extractions – “it literally acts like a magic erase marker”.

Kaela Anne responded to that video telling followers to stop listening to Lori Harvey.
She made a couple of points, including the fact that using yogurt is old school and has very little lactic acid.
She said Lori was giving treacherous advice because she put food on her skin after just having extractions.

Lori was not having it, she responded to Kaela’s video, letting her know that she needs to ensure her skin is on point before coming for her.
Then she posted a video with her own skincare expert:
@loriharvey Now leave me alone ???????????? #skincare #skin #skincareroutine #JoannaVargas
Twitter was split on the entire thing most of the tweets focusing on the fact that Lori has her own skin care line but promotes using yogurt instead.

Idk why y’all was mad about Lori Harvey using yogurt on her skin
(something that very much works and something I’m sure she was doing well before she had a skin care line)
But I’m glad y’all annoyed her enough to make her keep talking

Lori addressed the reason she did not promote her own products.
She said:
I just got here y’all not about to bully me off TikTok relaxxx skincare experts. Obviously I could’ve showed y’all a lactic acid serum or promoted my Vitamin C Serum BUT I was trying to show you guys an easy and cheap DIY mask that has similar benefits
@loriharvey I just got here y’all not about to bully me off TikTok ???? relaxxx skincare experts. Obviously I could’ve showed y’all a lactic acid serum or promoted my Vitamin C Serum BUT I was trying to show you guys an easy and cheap DIY mask that has similar benefits ???? #skincare
The fact is, using yogurt on the skin has been around forever and is a tried and true way to soothe irritation.
“Yogurt is filled with good bacteria—so probiotics, lactic acid, hyaluronic acid, as well as vitamins A, C, and E. It’s also filled with calcium and colostrum (a fatty acid that helps hydrate the skin).”
Lori isn’t wrong and Kaela is correct that there just might be better solutions out there.
We simply think it’s a matter of preference, some people love making masks using everyday foods others don’t.
Do you use yogurt on your face?
